With advancements in intensive care medicine for pediatric patients with congenital and acquired prothrombotic conditions, as well as those undergoing treatment for oncological and hematological disorders, the incidence of thromboembolic complications in this population has risen. Under specific anatomical and clinical conditions, caval filter implantation is increasingly considered a therapeutic option.
