Ces radiol. 2026, 80(1):7-15 | DOI: 10.55095/CesRadiol2026/010

English: Pineal region lesions are a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge. Integration of advanced imaging, molecular diagnostics and artificial intelligence enhances differential diagnosis and enables personalized treatment while reducing invasive interventions.

Recommended MR protocol in ongoing safety monitoring of anti-amyloid therapy for early Alzheimer's disease - role of the neuroradiologistReview article

Martin Kynčl, Filip Cihlář, Josef Vymazal, Pavel Ryška, Marek Mechl, Jiří Ferda

Ces radiol. 2026, 80(1):16-19 | DOI: 10.55095/CesRadiol2026/015

MRI is a vital tool for ARIA safety monitoring in anti-amyloid therapy, with neuroradiologists assisting in protocol standardisation, precise grading, and reporting for clinicians.

New revision of McDonald's criteria 2024 from a radiologist's perspectiveReview article

Manuela Vaněčková, Pavel Ryška, Dana Horáková, Eva Kubala Havrdová, Dominika Šťastná

Ces radiol. 2026, 80(1):20-25 | DOI: 10.55095/CesRadiol2026/002

According to the latest revision of McDonald's diagnostic criteria from 2024, it is possible to diagnose MS under the same conditions as according to the 2017 criteria, but under certain circumstances it is now possible to make a diagnosis based solely on MRI findings. This is related to the incorporation of other specific features, such as the criterion taking into account the central vein sign and paramagnetic rim around demyelinating lesions, which aid in differential diagnosis and accelerate the diagnostic process.

CNS lymphoma mimicking neuro-Behçet's diseaseCase report

Barbora Hanžlová, Samuel Hricko, Miroslav Škorňa, Miloš Keřkovský

Ces radiol. 2026, 80(1):26-32 | DOI: 10.55095/CesRadiol2026/008

The aim of this article is to present a case study of a young patient with primary CNS lymphoma, which, due to nonspecific symptoms and unclear or negative findings in paraclinical examinations, escaped correct diagnosis for some time.

Sister Mary Joseph nodule: case study - metastasis of intra-abdominal cancers in the umbilical regionCase report

Lenka Červenková, Hana Pánková Petrášová

Ces radiol. 2026, 80(1):33-37 | DOI: 10.55095/CesRadiol2026/001

By presenting this case report regarding Sister Mary's node (umbilical metastasis of intra-abdominal carcinomas), we aim to raise awareness of this symptom.

Imaging of somatostatin receptor density and physiological variability of 68Ga-edotreotide distribution in tissues - significance for evaluation of findingsReview article

Marika Looseová, Martina Odvody, Eva Ferdová, Táňa Baráková, Jan Pernický, Jiří Ferda

Ces radiol. 2026, 80(1):38-45 | DOI: 10.55095/CesRadiol2026/012

Imaging using somatostatine analogue 68Ga-edotreotid makes possible to identify tumorous tissues equipped with somatostatine receptors subtypes 2 and 5. The normal distribution of the radiopahrmaceuticals is needed to explain the image variability.

Distribution of 68Ga-PSMA-11 in tissues during prostate cancer imagingReview article

Martina Odvody, Marika Looseová, Eva Ferdová, Táňa Baráková, Jan Pernický, Jiří Ferda

Ces radiol. 2026, 80(1):46-53 | DOI: 10.55095/CesRadiol2026/013

Imaging prostate cancer using the prostate-specific membrane antigen ligand 68Ga-PSMA-11 allows visualization of the actual tumor tissue, but at the same time, it is a radiopharmaceutical that binds to other glandular or ganglion tissues. Knowledge of the physiological distribution of 68Ga-PSMA-11 allows these structures to be distinguished from metastatic dissemination of prostate cancer.
