Contrast-enhanced ultrasound of liver diseasesOriginal article
- Radiologická klinika LF a FN, Hradec Králové
Contrast enhanced ultrasound is a novelly introduced method which enables assesment of the course of imagination of blood vessels and tissue not only in Doppler style but in double spaced ultrasound image. The development of this method was enabled by better quality of microbubble contrast agents and technical development of ultrasound equipment. The most useful tool of this method is the diagnosis of liver lesions. The authors present their contemporary experience and topical overview of the world experience is mentioned. Author showed this method by usage of the same diagnostic criteria as contrast computer tomography and nuclear magnetic resonance colud replace in future the latter mentioned methods in well defined indication completely.
