CT angiography - the needed conditions of the quality examinationPicture essay

In both general and special section the authors describe CT imaging sequences that should improve quality of CT angiograms. In imaging section they draw a special attention to potential problems related to data acquisition and processing. Due to future predominance of noninvasive angiographic imaging, pitfalls in the most frequent indications are presented as examples - CT angiography of the lower limbs, carotid arteries, aorta, renal arteries and splanchnic vessels. The goal is to improve quality of CT angiograms in different centres and support an unambiguous diagnostic conclusions from obtained images.
