CT Angiography of Cerebral Arteries in the Diagnosis of Brain Death in Organ DonorsGuidelines

Foreign studies have shown that CT angiography (CTA) can be used to confirm cerebral circulatory arrest. The Czech Act No. 285/2002 Coll., lists CTA as one of the methods which can be used to confirm brain death. However, lacking methodology has limited its spread so far. That is why methodological guidance has been developed and is presented here.
