Visual comparison of different image sets is a common part of a radiologist?swork, however, performing the so-called "side-by-side" reading in two windowsor even monitors is very time and attention and risky for mistakes. Thearticle presents instructions and examples using MR and CT image fusions inthe common practice of a radiologist, where these procedures mean asignificant benefit in diagnostics and also fundamentally contribute to thepresentation of the identified changes. Current software tools allow its verysimple implementation in the routine work of a radiologist.
