Imaging methods play an important role in the diagnosis of crystal arthropathies, together with examination and laboratory tests and polarizing microscopy. The aim of this article is to review the findings in various imaging methods in patients suffering from these diseases. Finally, we discuss the differential diagnosis of crystal arthropathies.
Keywords: crystal arthropathies, gout, calcium pyrophosphate arthropathy, pseudogout, imaging methods.
