Tomáš Andrašina, Jiří Pánek, Tomáš Rohan, Petra Kovalčíková, Tomáš Grolich, Lenka Ostrížková, Vlastimil Válek
Ces radiol. 2016, 70(4):228-234 | DOI: 10.55095/CesRadiol2016/030
Percutaneous forceps biopsy performed during initial drainage is a safe, efficient and cost-effective procedure when compared to the postponed endoluminal biopsy.
Dual-energy CT in patients with NSCLC, possible benefit in detection of metastatic lymph nodes and monitoring therapy responseOriginal article
Táňa Matoušková, Jan Baxa, Jaroslav Ludvík, Jiří Ferda
Ces radiol. 2016, 70(4):235-241 | DOI: 10.55095/CesRadiol2016/031
The development of vascularization in lymph nodes was monitored in 38 patients with non-small cell lung cancer during chemotherapy using dual-energy CT. Different development of vascularization in lymph nodes was observed, depending on the response to treatment, but also whether lymph nodes were involved at the time of staging.
Computed tomography of the lung after endobronchial valve implantationOriginal article
Eva Kočová, Vladimír Koblížek, Jiří Ruta, Pavel Eliáš
Ces radiol. 2016, 70(4):242-246 | DOI: 10.55095/CesRadiol2016/032
Exact measurement of graphic efect of endobronchial treatment of lung emphysema is possible only on computed tomography of the lung. Due to postprocessing we are able to measure volume of the lobe before and after valve implantation.

Hana Petrášová, Jakub Foukal
Ces radiol. 2016, 70(4):252-258 | DOI: 10.55095/CesRadiol2016/034
Ultrasound navigation systems can be used for fusion of US with previous CT or MR examination and allow better monitoring of inserted instruments if used with special instruments.
