CT volumetry and metastatic liver segmentation before hepatic surgeryOriginal article

Jaroslav Ludvík, Jan Baxa, Jiří Ferda, Hynek Mírka, Vladislav Třeška

Ces radiol. 2018, 72(4):237-246 | DOI: 10.55095/CesRadiol2018/032

Future liver remnant volume is important predictive factor of the outcomes of the patients with liver tumours after the surgery. CT volumetry enables to find both the volume of the liver and the volumes of the single lobe or segments. The automatic CT volumetry is faster with similar accuracy in comparison to the older manual method.

Correlation between percentage of honeycombing on chest HRCT evaluated by the CALIPER automated program and visual identification by radiologistOriginal article

Martin Hyršl, Eva Kočová, Pavel Eliáš, Jiří Vaňásek, Jiří Jandura, Vladimír Bartoš, Jan Novosad

Ces radiol. 2018, 72(4):247-253 | DOI: 10.55095/CesRadiol2018/033

The main goal of this study is to specify the threshold of honeycombing calculated by program CALIPER that correlates with the visual identification of honeycombing presence by a group of radiologists.

Ces radiol. 2018, 72(4):263-267 | DOI: 10.55095/CesRadiol2018/036

A rare case report about 31-year-old woman with the positive history papillary thyroid carcinoma and an uncommon rebound thymus uptake of 131I (radioiodine) on the post-therapy whole body scintigraphy and the chest SPECT/CT imaging after repeated radioiodine treatment, which simulated metastases in the mediastinum.

Changes of fractional anisotropy of the cerebral white matter in first-episode schizophreniaOriginal article
